# How do I search if I know the name of the building?
Use this option to search for a building name. Type in the building name you want to search for. Type in the City, Municipality, or Province Code that the building is in (optional). Select the Building from the Search Results list. Take Note: Due to the fact that building names are constantly changing, it is exceedingly difficult to create and maintain an accurate building name database. If the building you are looking for does not appear on our database, please notify us by sending a MapBall of the location of the building and the name to jnk@1map.co.za, or send an email if you don’t know the exact location of the building.
