Searching for a Street Address

This method uses the 1map National Address Dictionary (NAD) to process your query.

  1. In the Search Panel, in the "Search:" dropdown box, choose "1map Street Address".




  2. Enter the street address that you wish to search for. As you type, possible options are displayed, which you can then choose if the address you are looking for appears. 



  3. Or continue to refine your search by adding the suburb name and Province code if you know it. Scroll through the list displayed and click on the address you want.

  1. Refine your search by adding Province Codes:
    EC: Eastern Cape
    FS: Free State
    GT: Gauteng
    KZ: KwaZulu-Natal
    LP: Limpopo
    MP: Mpumalanga
    NC: Northern Cape
    NW: North West
    WC: Western Cape
